Please take time review and understand our office policies so that we can focus on what’s important – your well-being.
Financial Policies
-
We are primarily a self-pay healthcare provider. We do not bill commercial insurance plans (i.e., BlueCross/BlueShield) and are not contracted with Washington Apple Health (Medicaid), its managed care organizations, or Workers’ Compensation (Labor & Industries). The only insurance we bill directly is Personal Injury Protection (PIP) for auto injury cases. Workers’ Compensation cases require referral elsewhere. Medicare patients seeking chiropractic adjustments must see a Medicare-enrolled provider.
If you are enrolled in commercial insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare, services provided at this clinic will generally not be billed to those programs. By choosing to receive care here, you agree to be personally responsible for payment. Patients who wish to receive services covered by their insurance program may seek care from a participating provider.
-
Patients with commercial insurance may request a detailed invoice (superbill) to submit to their insurance company. Reimbursement for out-of-network services varies by plan and is not guaranteed.
-
Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements are made. Late or unpaid balances may incur a $25 fee every 30 days until paid in full. For PIP/Auto Injury claims, you remain responsible for treatment costs if the insurer or third party does not pay. In third-party cases where billing is withheld until settlement, we may file a lien against the settlement.
-
We accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover, and HSA.
